I love fried chicken. It’s also easy to make. I want to share with you a simple recipe and encourage you to change it up a bit. Add your favorite seasonings to the flour to zest up your chicken.
Ingredients:
Chicken (skinned)
Buttermilk
Flour
Salt & Pepper
Oil
Video:
Remember to let your chicken cook until its golden brown before turning. If you want extra crispy chicken – after covering it in flour dip it again in the buttermilk and back in the flour.

Another great video. After seeing your video I was surprised how easy fried chicken was to make. I make it but it just doesn't seem to hold the flour. Your using the buttermilk and putting the pieces in the fridge is definitely something I am going to do. In fact this recipe was so user friendly that I will make it this week for dinner. Another thing I did not realize was that when the sides of the chicken were getting slightly browned it was about time to turn the pieces. I can't wait to try this recipe.
ReplyDeleteYummy! I had no idea you had your own internet show, chica! :)
ReplyDeleteI had my husband watch this because neither one of us has ever cooked fried chicken at home...but we will now! I WILL!!
I think I'll follow your advice and add some Cuban Adobo seasoning to the flour. (You did say to add to add that, didn't you??) lol
Great video and post, my friend! Keep 'em coming! A family that cooks and eats together stays together!!
